The Young Member's Group has been set up to give young people age 11-16 who share an interest in railways, a chance to meet up and get more involved in supporting the railway.

The group meets monthly, normally on a Saturday, at Winchcombe Station and undertakes various railway projects and other railway related activities.  This might involve trips, walks and talks or simply helping around the railway.

The group will be of particular interest to any young person who has a genuine interest in railways and wants to meet others with a similar interest.  We hope these sessions will be fun as well as informative - a chance to find out more railways in general, and the GWSR in particular.

Young people are welcome to come along to a meeting and find out what the group is like but if they decide to join they must become full members.  Anyone interested in joining should email Mike Parsons and Richard Scott at ypg@gwsr.com
