February half term
article by: webmaster
New this year!
Do you need something to do over the February half term
holidays?
Instead of staying at home wondering what there is to do,
why not come down to Toddington and travel on our 1960's diesel
rail car to Hailes Abbey and then back over the 15 arch Stanway
viaduct all the way to Laverton?
For the first time, we will be running regular services this
February over the weekends of 11th and 12th and 18th and 19th
February and the Tuesday to Thursday inbetween. Train times can be
accessed from this link.
And to make it really good value, all children will
travel free so all your day out need cost is the
price of the adult ticket! Our railway shop will be open and
of course you can also indulge in a wide range of refreshments in
the Flag and Whistle tea room.
So, do come and visit us and travel as many times as you
like on the train. You can stand up close near the driver and
watch him at the controls or you can look at the view
and watch out for the deer and other animals that regularly
run in front of the train.
(Please note the steam service from Cheltenham Race
Course and Winchcombe will not be operating over this
period.)
