When you visit GWR175 this weekend, take a look in the main marquee.  There before your eyes will be a whole history of the Great Western Railway and British Railways Western Region told in nameplates, number plates, station totems - and every Western Region shed plate!

This truly is a stunning display and Neil Booth of Railwayana Auctions, has worked tirelessly to put the collection together.

"I'm truly humbled by what has arrived for this display.  So many people have been happy to lend their name or number plates and other items.  Many have never been seen in public since they were taken off the locomotives that carried them so this truly is an extraordinary and rare opportunity to see so much on display in one plate," he says.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped make this one of the most amazing collections I've ever seen - and that's saying something, given that I'm in the railwayana business!"

Check out the model tent as well.  A late addition is a stunning 10¼in gauge 4700 class 2-8-0, no 4700.  This huge model brings back to life a much loved class long extinct.
