- The Castle Class, developed by Collett from Churchward's Star Class were the mainstay of the GWR's express passenger workings. No 5051, originally named Drysllwyn Castle, was built in 1936 and spent most of its life based Swansea working to London and Birmingham. It was withdrawn in 1963 and rescued from the Barry scrap yard by the Great Western Society in 1970.
